Smart-Up Community cooperates widely with events, institutions and networks to scale up the impact of the project activities and innovation camp outputs. For example, in summer 2018 Aalto University as the academic lead of Smart-Up contributed to the teaching and academic framing of EIT Digital Cities summer school in Tallinn. Student teams worked together to innovate sustainable mobility solutions in the context of Tallinn City and other European cities. Student teams’ final pitches and solution prototypes were presented in front of a jury consisting of EIT representatives, business angels and investors. The winner team – RIDEAWAY – has been offered an opportunity to join Business Incubator in Tallinn.
